Elke Andreas Boon (Belgium) is an artist and composer who has developed a distinctive and personal oeuvre marked by a powerful sense of contemporary urgency. Working across various media, Boon creates works that combine fragile resistance with direct reflections on universal and existential questions. Through a radical and uncompromising language, the artist embraces sharp, surreal and often humorous critiques, while revealing an aesthetic richness rooted in a powerful iconography. Deeply intertwined with the artist’s identity, the oeuvre reflects a continuous pursuit of freedom beyond established social structures.
Anthony Duffeleer (°1972, Waregem, Belgium) works across disciplines and media to visualize his thought patterns. Objects are chosen, created, combined, or manipulated based on their archetypal nature. He considers his works reflective interlocutors that capture the vibrations of our society and our thinking.
His work offers an entry point into la condition humaine, exposing the paradoxes of desire, suffering and the absurdity of existence. This often evokes a sense of disorientation or discomfort in the viewer, confronted with the harsh reality of human existence in a distorted yet intriguing form. Unapologetic and organically provocative, Duffeleer confronts hypocrisy and prudishness, while maintaining a sense of wit and ambiguity.
The title is a subtle yet essential component of the work, helping the viewer to comprehend and unravel it layer by layer, according to personal need. Titles may even change after a work has found a new owner. After all, reflections change, and Duffeleer sees his works as notes: sometimes pragmatic, sometimes touched by wit, without any aim for eternity.
His work is included in major collections in Belgium and abroad.

In one of his earliest performative works, Kendell Geers (°1968, Republic of South Africa) changed his date of birth to May 1968 in order to give birth to himself as a shapeshifting AfroPean artist. He has made a career as an inside outsider who has refused to compromise his faith in the one of the most resilient artists alive today. Describing his practice as AniMytikAKtivist, he weaves together syncretic animism with alchemical mysticism and embodies a charged activist spirit. Geers moves through the art system like a shadow with his tongue in our cheek because the punchline is always where we least expect it. He wears provocation the way others wear a uniform, not as costume, but as conviction, unsettling the room precisely because he refuses to explain the joke. Where the institution wants order, he brings a controlled kind of chaos: not to destroy the system, but to show everyone watching exactly how fragile its order always was.
The work of Nikita Kadan (° 1982, Kyiv, Ukraine) centers on his artistic exploration of post-communist social and political developments and their origins and causes in the Soviet system. The artist is a sensitive and critical observer and interpreter of historical shifts and the connections and continuities between the communist past and turbo-capitalist present. As a significant figure in the Ukrainian art scene, Nikita Kadan has become the voice and witness of the Ukrainian situation since the beginning of the Russian proxy-war on Ukraine which started in 2014 and the full-scale war started in 2022.
Nikita Kadan was a member of the artist group R.E.P. (Revolutionary Experimental Space) since 2004 and co-founder and member of the curatorial group and activities HUDRADA since 2008. He graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Kyiv, where he studied monumental painting; he now works with installation, sculpture, painting and large-scale charcoal drawings.

Shervin/e Sheikh Rezaei (°1994, Belgium/Iran) is a Brussels-based multimedia artist working across drawing, video, sculpture, sound, performance, and installation. Originally trained as an architect, her practice explores the tension between control and unpredictability, bringing the rational languages of design and technology into dialogue with the fluidity of bodies, nature, and emotion.
Drawing from intimate and corporeal experiences, Sheikh Rezaei investigates themes of illness, desire, female identity, memory, and care. Fluids and organic processes recur throughout her work as both material and metaphor, revealing the body as a vulnerable yet generative site of transformation. Through spatial compositions, sound, and performative gestures, she creates environments where intimacy and discomfort, logic and intuition, surrender and resistance can coexist.

Koen van den Broek (°1973, Bree, Belgium) first studied architecture and subsequently painting, initially at the Royal Academy of Antwerp and then at the Academy of Visual Arts of Breda. In his opinion, despite his painting studies, he has always remained an architect at heart. Ever since his student days, van den Broek has travelled constantly: around Europe, to the USA, Mexico and even to Japan. Always with his camera close to hand. He takes photos, a lot of photos, which all depict the same subject: the architectural interventions of man on the landscape.
Early in his career, Koen van den Broek developed a fascination for desolate landscapes in which man rarely appears, but always makes his presence felt. He depicts the traces left behind on roads, streets and houses that have been abandoned. The artist’s perception of roads and borders in barren lands has provided the painter with impulses that enable him to make his specific statement on landscape painting. Van den Broek operates by turning his face downwards and zooming in on the irregularities of the pavement, on curb stones and shadows. It is this very search for a subject of representation that led the artist on a journey closer to abstraction.

Charlotte Vandenbroucke (°1993, Hasselt, Belgium) obtained her Master of Fine Arts from Sint-Lucas in Ghent, where she now lives and works. Her practice spans painting and sculpture, occupying the space where both disciplines converge. Through a singular and unconventional approach to abstraction, she constructs a personal visual language in which material, form, meaning and process are brought together with precision and intent. By subjecting unconventional materials to intensive transformation and structural manipulation, she creates works with a powerful physical and emotional presence. Her work invites slowness, attentiveness and reflection, seeking to move beyond the limits of visual perception.
Jan Van Imschoot(°1963, Ghent) has been living and working in France since 2013. Van Imschoot’s exploration of the possibilities offered by painting have resulted in a body of work that draws its power from highly critical and dramatic themes and contains references to countless artists, from Tintoretto to Luc Tuymans, Goya to Matisse. Van Imschoot places his figures, decors and narratives at history’s margins, using assembled perspectives, strong tones, bodies in motion and brushwork he describes as ‘anarcho-baroque’. His work delves into a number of recurring motifs: freedom, censorship and the violence of political and ideological systems.
